An Amazing Day

I went to the Cubs game today with my daughter and a friend of mine and his daughter.  I had extremely high expectations for the day.  As it approached my daughter and I became more and more excited about it.  Well, it certainly delivered.  I expect that our trip yesterday will turn out to be a life highlight and we’ll both remember it for the rest of our lives.  Not only was it a terrific game but the weather was perfect and Sarah got a baseball during batting practice.  Combine that with the fact that the girls were very well behaved in what turned out to be a very long day (we left the house at 10:30 am and got home after midnight).  It was just perfect!
